This postapocalyptic actioner takes us to a distant future where two warring factions have risen from the chaos to rule what used to be the United States. No one really remembers what a church or carnival was (we’ll probably turn that into a big twist reveal at the end for some nonsensical reason), though there are plenty of references to the sacred artifacts of Kirk Cameron and P.T. Barnum. It’s tribalism turned up to 11. But when covid-monkey-pox-communist-zombies start decimating both populations, they must put aside their differences if they want to survive. They do not. But through sheer plot armor a few central characters manage to escape to Canada, which apparently still exists and is thriving in 2027.
