Did you ever wonder what would happen if you crossed nostalgia fodder like Voltron with cute meme fodder like a bunch of cuddly kittens? Neither have we. But if you did cross them, you’d probably get Kit10. A campy sci-fi epic about 10 cuddly cyborg kittens who, in their spare time, are the guardians of our galaxy. When the evil Puptron threatens to annihilate Earth, it seems all is lost. Well, actually the first reaction is a bunch of cooing and selfies, followed by dismissive giggling, then annoyance, and finally the aforementioned fear and feeling of helplessness. Earth’s only hope is 10 little cyborg space kittens who can assemble to form the giant robot warrior Kit10. Why do the kittens waste half of the third act thinking it’s a good idea to try to take Puptron on individually, before finally relenting and forming Kit10 to make quick work of him? Sounds like a question to address in the revisionist prequel.
