Great Friday

raig and Smokey are back in the old neighborhood with their families for Easter and decide to hang out reminiscing about the colorful characters and antics from their youth. When Smokey presents a vacuum-sealed bag containing a joint of “that old-fashioned 1995 shit” Craig is initially hesitant to partake but since his kids are out with his wife and mother and 30-year old weed couldn’t possibly be potent enough to rattle him he indulges.

Within minutes he is reeling and out of his skull, as is Smokey. As Smokey tries to ascertain what happened Craig notices a second joint tucked behind Smokey’s ear and asks him what it is. Smokey grabs it, stares at it entirely too long, and then exclaims “daaaaaaaammnn!” Apparently he had already opened the vintage joint earlier and placed it behind his ear, what they have just smoked is the prototype of the latest experimental strain from Smokey’s very successful medical marijuana dispensary that he had forgotten he had in his jacket ahead of a business meeting that afternoon.

As Smokey tells Craig that they are about to go on a ride for the next few hours Craig’s anxiety spikes and he leaps up and begins running down the street. Smokey calls after him warning him not to freak out, but it’s too late. As the tell-tale sound of a bicycle bell fills the air Craig freezes in the middle of the road- Deebo has been dead for years now. Is this the weed messing with him or a twisted Easter miracle?
