The trial is over and the verdict is in. Guilty. Despite his best efforts to win over the jury with his comedic charm, Randall’s parents owe restitution on the order of 3 million dollars. But where will his family get that kind of money? Maybe he couldn’t woo the jury, but Randall’s more than confident he can woo paying audiences and launch a lucrative stand-up comedy career in the next few weeks. The first challenge- convincing skeptical and discerning comedy club owners that it’s ok to let an 8th grader on stage. Normally the biggest challenge would be convincing his parents to let him venture off into the city on his own after dark, but as we’ve established, they’re pretty distracted right now.
