Randall is the 8th grade class clown. At least in his own mind. And his numerous pranks are unfortunately just as unfunny. But his latest prank takes a tragic turn, when he decides it would be hilarious to lather up the climbing ropes in gym class with soap and watch everyone struggle to get to the top. Randall and his peers soon learn the subtle difference between lathering up the bottom of a climbing rope versus the top: one is a prank and the other a personal injury lawsuit. With his family standing to lose everything in a lawsuit, Randall decides his only hope is to dig deep, be funnier than ever before, and win the jury over with his clownish charm.
