Putting the Court Ahead of the Horse

Pushing the boundaries of good taste comes the latest (and hopefully last) Mervin Shockley tale! Enraged by the liberal demon-rat agenda that says people can “self-identify” to the gender of their choosing, Mervin decides to test the boundaries of this slippery slope — If a man can be a woman, why can’t a horse be a wife? Declaring his love for his therapy horse; Applejax, Mervin applies for a marriage license and plans an elegant ceremony. But, when a local county clerk denies his request, the case gains national attention. Outraged at the hypocrisy, Mervin vows to fight the injustice all the way to the highest court in the land and gives the phrase “old nag” a new meaning in this taught legal thriller.
