This world-building franchise starter follows the adventures of Jyrvalis Stoneforth, warrior musician of Exyost. Exiled from his homeland by the evil wizard Lord Farthrighte (for reasons we’ll discover later in the tale), Jyrvalis wanders the nine realms offering music and protection to anyone that can afford it. After a chance encounter with a clan of bandits results in Jyrvalis saving the lives of Pragromire and Strystos, the twins of Dubrankis, fate sets our reluctant hero on a legendary quest to save the fabled kingdom of Estovast from the Scurge of Sudravon. Phew.
