Kitten and Broccoli

After his parents die, a down on his luck city boy inherits the familial farm and a baby barn kitten. In order to payoff his crippling debt, he’ll try to make a go of it alongside Mittens; his new friend, and a greedy Shylock intent on collecting his pound of flesh…literally. Despite some Mittens-related shenanigans, he can’t make a dent in what he owes, and the Shylock offers him a terrifying, yet mouthwatering alternative: Mittens for the cancellation of his debit. But just why does the Shylock want Mittens so badly? And why does he always seem to have a famished glint in his eyes when the subject of exotic supper clubs comes up? And why do exotic supper clubs always seem to come up when the Shylock is around?

You’ll be asking yourself, who saved who in a film the whole family can enjoy…at least until the kids start asking about the industrial meat industry and the deterministic nature of the universe.
