Chaos Crew: The Dimensional Heist

Hulu presents a Disney plus extravaganza.

The world is unknowingly on the brink of falling into the hands of the Shadow Syndicate, a nefarious international crime ring led by the enigmatic Dr. Nightshade. Her plan? To seize control of world governments using an army of cyborg strippers and bionic wrestlers, both enhanced with mind-control technology, all orchestrated from her secret base on a seemingly ordinary goat farm populated by suspiciously intelligent Pygmy goats.

Enter our unlikely trio of heroes: Deadpool, the wisecracking mercenary; Rick Sanchez, the genius, albeit morally ambiguous scientist; and Scooby-Doo, the world’s most famous Great Dane detective (accompanied by a reluctantly dragged-along Shaggy). Together, they form the “Chaos Crew,” a team as dysfunctional as they are determined.

After Rick accidentally intercepts a digital virus intended to upgrade the cyborgs, the Chaos Crew sets out on a wild adventure spanning multiple dimensions. In one dimension, they enter a wrestling match to infiltrate the syndicate, wearing ludicrous disguises that barely conceal their identities. Deadpool dons a wrestling singlet with excessive flair, while Rick uses gadgets that malfunction in hilariously inconvenient ways, and Scooby, fitted with a translating collar, commentates the match with Shaggy as his nervous sidekick.

Meanwhile, the Pygmy goats turn out to be the brainchild of Dr. Nightshade’s right-hand scientist, Dr. Bleat, who has accidentally endowed them with super intelligence. The goats develop their own plan to escape their life of crime, leading to chaotic scenes where tiny goats outsmart burly security guards.

The climax sees the team crashing Dr. Nightshade’s world domination launch party, disguised as exotic dancers and a DJ. Deadpool performs a riotous dance routine with the cyborg strippers, while Rick hacks into the mind-control network with a device hidden in Scooby’s snacks. Scooby and Shaggy, chased by bionic wrestlers, inadvertently trigger traps that capture the syndicate members.

In a final face-off, Dr. Nightshade confronts the crew. Deadpool quips through a mouthful of Scooby Snacks, Rick burps up a universe-saving formula, and Scooby, with a dramatic flair only a cartoon dog could muster, reveals that Dr. Nightshade is none other than an embittered former pet show contestant, ousted by a competing Pygmy goat.

As the movie closes, the world is saved in the nick of time, the cyborgs are freed from their programming, and the goats opt to start a peaceful commune. The Chaos Crew, aboard Rick’s spaceship, contemplates their next misadventure, leaving a trail of cosmic chaos and laughter in their wake.
