After being called out for literally walking only 30 feet in her famous music video for "A Thousand Miles," Vanessa Carlton decides to walk from Garnett, South Carolina, to Pawtuxet Village, Rhode Island (which Wikipedia lists as her current hometown). Along this almost 2-month journey, she experiences everything life has to offer, learns a little something about love, becomes inspired to write and record a new Grammy award-winning album, and burns through several pairs of sneakers.
