Kelly Murphy is a rogueish Irish Farmer just trying to do right by God, his family, and make it through the potato famine. The only thing of value the Murphy family has is Kerry, the family dairy cow. Through lean times and fat times, Kerry was an integral part of the Murphy homestead. But, when a band of French cattle rustlers start stealing local cows and abscond with hem back to the mainland, Kelly has to go and rescue the only lifeline he and his family have. As he navigates the tense geopolitical land mines of 1850s Europe, Kelly samples exquisite country butter and realized if he can save Kerry, he can also save his family by introducing the high-fat, high-quality churned cream to Ireland. It’s a tale of revenge and full fat butter, both salted.
