Until today, when he stumbled into a local children’s bookstore to use the bathroom and saw a display of cartoonishly illustrated books. “Curious George Visits the Library”? “Curious George Goes to the Aquarium”? “Curious George Sends 54 People to the Hospital After his Antics on the Subway Hilariously Cause a Derailment”? Aided by his jungle friends (including a hot-tempered cheetah, a brilliant strategist lion and an explosives expert giraffe), George Sr. heads to the big city across the ocean take down the man in the yellow hat and take back his son. Alternatively, the plot can be an IP crossover about Curious George visiting a physics laboratory, accidentally blasting himself with gamma rays, and turning into a monkey version of the Hulk. We’d remove “Sr” from the title for that one, of course. But that was probably obvious.
