Evan’s in the doghouse, and not without reason. Lucky for him, his wedding anniversary is just around the corner- the perfect opportunity to make a bold empty gesture to buy him some good will. The plan? Arrange a flight around the world, passing every time zone so the day lasts twice as long. Surely that can be spun into a romantic gift that would make his wife’s friends jealous enough to get him off the couch and back into the bed. But things go horribly wrong when the drunk pilot accidentally flies in the wrong direction, leaving Evan just hours to either pack in a year’s worth of groveling and begging or stage a faux hijacking where he can pretend to be a selfless hero. The second option will make for a more interesting story, so that’s what we’ll be going with.
