They say that with great power comes great reasonability, but with mediocre power comes tinpot dictators and d-list superheroes. After falling into a vat of rubber amalgamate, Dave Spring becomes imbued with the power to stretch. Vowing to use his new found power only to annoy, Dave embarks on a life of petty crime and minor annoyance to his neighbors. But, for every reaction, there is an equal and opposite reaction. In Dave’s case, a local steelworker falls into a vat of molten steel and is transformed into Steel Toe. After recruiting Steel Toe for a series of B&Es, Dave quickly realizes his new “partner’ is dangerous and must be stopped. A hero will be born, and you’ll realize that much of this could have been prevented if the factories had only taken the proper safety precautions near the open vats of volatile chemicals.
