Castaway meets Fight Club in this tale of survival and inner discovery. Follow cruise ship deckhand Stuart Shipington as he’s marooned on a desert island and left for dead. Alone and scared, Stu’s fears that he’ll never see another human again are quickly replaced by the horrific realization that he’s not alone after all. It turns out that the island is inhabited by a tribe of warrior cannibals intent on hunting down and devouring our protagonist. A thrilling fight for survival ensues, until the inevitable twist- Stu was suffering from a psychotic episode the entire time and comes to in the cruise ship’s medical facilities. Problem resolved. Then for some reason the final shot will probably be the cruise doctor pulling down his surgical mask to reveal that he’s one of the cannibals, as he holds up some utensils and a salt shaker. Because why not.
