Ouija, Battleship, Clue. A one out of 3 chance of avoiding the Whammy and striking gold with a board game inspired movie ain’t too bad. And if that game is so old that it probably avoids having to pay royalties, and so primitive that CGI costs will be negligible, all the better! Meet Sticky, a teenage pickup stick that never quite fit in due to his bright fluorescent color and slightly bent legs. But when some event that seems reasonable in a world populated by sticks that spend the day picking each other up occurs, Sticky’s unique physical attributes and personal qualities save the day. This feel good movie for all ages will pickup your spirits and empty your wallet- so so so many cheap to build character figures with different names.
