Trevor is sharp, ambitious and the youngest ever chief aide to his city’s Democratic mayor. Though his professional life is flourishing, his personal life is non-existent. Tired of being lonely, and always awkward with the ladies, Trevor places an ad: “looking for the right wingman to help me meet the right girl.” Enter Carson, a pushy and opinionated conservative pundit and the reason Trevor now understands the significant difference between the words “right” and “correct” (and a misplaced hyphen). Fireworks fly as Carson throws himself into every aspect of Trevor’s life. Will the two come to realize that they both have valid but differing opinions about how the world should work and deep down they are more similar than different? Or will we just ride the setup’s low hanging fruit churn out wacky situations and raunchy pickup lines? Studio’s choice. We envision a simultaneous release with “Left Wing Man”, to capture the full political demographic for the studio.
