From his role in Animal House to his droopy, McConaughesque mustache Kevin Bacon has captivated us with his talent and confused us with some of the parts he’s chosen. These days, he’s better known as Mr. Kyra Sedgwick, then, uh, does anyone ever remember his character’s names? Omega Theta Pi Pledge? Footloose guy? The astronaut on Apollo 13? Sorry, it just seems a little strange that we collectively agreed that Kevin Bacon movies are the measure to determine the shortest path between two actors and no one can remember even one of his characters without looking it up? Weird. Ok, this has gone off the rails quickly. Let’s try wheel this thing around and at least pretend we care about writing a proper pitch?
Kevin takes on his most daunting role; middle age, as he desperately tries to shop a prestige picture around Hollywood with the hopes of finally earning him an Oscar nod. But when development execs start turning up dead, all signs point to Kevin. Can he clear his name and attach an A-list director? Can Kevin convince the Hollywood Execs that the can still open a film or have a believable love interest with a woman half his age? It’s six degree of fun in this double murder-suicide thriller.
