With the sunny days most certainly behind him, our story begins just as our little green hero’s world is about to come crashing down. It started as a harmless enough flash news fluff piece- a feelgood story about some well-intentioned kids from the street serving a free warm meal to down-on-their-luck veterans. Why oh why did he feel the need to start ad-libbing about his 4 fictitious tours of duty in ‘Nam?! And the details! The horrible, graphic, gruesome made up on the spot details! It didn’t take an investigative genius to figure it out- afterall, it’s well known that frog legs don’t just grow back, despite the wishes of many a French chef. I guess he just wanted to fit in, but now the fallout is coming and it will be swift. Simply correcting the record won’t be enough to save our hero’s career. It’ll take a no holds barred over the top showstopping 90 minute musical apology-correction to do it!
