After the explosive finale of You’re Cooked, Asparagoose finds himself alone, again. While he was able to save his new flock without a connection to the Verdant, it came at a terrible cost – his legs. Unable to protect his flock (or even waddle), Aspargoose turns to the to his old enemy; the Technocracy, to regain his power. Fitted with artificial legs, Asparagoose becomes the fastest goose alive and is once again able to protect those under his care. But, did he trade his soul just to be able to fight crime at break(goose)neck speed? And why do all the crimes he’s stopping seem to be helping the Technocracy? Assaparagoose will find out just how deep the Technocracy’s tendrils go as he learns that sometimes it isn't better to die a hero than it is to live long enough to see yourself as the villain.
