It is now time for a new pitch
I just did one, but I won’t bitch
Seuss films often are not good
Seuss films made in Hollywood
But still Seuss films they will make
Those big studios won’t take a break
We’ve seen the Lorax, Horton, and Cat
Several Grinches and all of that
Some are cartoons, some are not
But altogether they’re not so hot
So once again to the Seuss estate!
To license rights for a full slate
It seems it’s time- it’s overdue
To have a full-fledged SCU
It’s worked for Marvel, for a while at least
So our Seussoverse can be a beast!
We’ll start out slow, with Green Eggs and Ham
Test the waters with Sam I Am
And if it hits, and audiences bite
A new film each quarter sounds about right
We’ll Hop on Pop, see red fish and blue
And then we’ll start to build up to
The main event! The team-up pic!
Thread all the films together in a way that’s slick!
But first we’ll head to McGrew’s Zoo,
There’s enough there for a film or two
We’ll journey to Whaffa-ma-fizzle-ma-pot
To introduce the Big Bad, a turtle despot!
Yes Yertle, like Hitler, will make the crowds boo
They’ll yell “Go and get ‘em Thing One and Thing Two”
And as Seuss heroes unite on the silver screen,
The Eggs won’t be the only thing turning green
Oh just think of the places we’ll go
When the SCU starts raking in dough!
