Meet the young Ahsoka TaNoMeansNo, a force sensitive slavegirl that builds a headstrong blue R2 unit with one primary directive: do not access data ports without prior permission! Scratch your head as we never address how this directive gets altered or fits into the events of future episodes, though we imply that the wise-cracking K-2YesO has something to do with it. Wonder why we think showing Ahsoka legally shortening her last name to “Tano” at the end constitutes a clever twist. And breathe a sigh of relief when a mysterious Jedi master (never to be heard of again) mysteriously tells her out of the blue that there can be only two Sith, a master and an apprentice, unless one of them is involved in politics in which case it’s fine to be a little fast and loose with that rule.
How much longer can we keep this up? When you look back at the entire year of pitches, will you be impressed that our Star Wars Day pitches account for 1% of all pitches? Or, has this boldly gone where no pitcher has gone before?
